Angle Brackets

Marks in the form "<" or ">" used to enclose words or figures (element tags) when coding for webpages.

HTML

Hypertext Markup Language. A standardized system for tagging text files to achieve font, colour, graphic, and hyperlink effects on Web pages.

HTTP

Hypertext Transfer Protocol. It is the set of application protocols by which user agents communicate with servers. It is the basic communication system for the internet.

Tag

The written form of an element. The content of a tag is represented by words or figures enclosed by angle brackets. Start tags and end tags denote the opening and closing of elements.
